Kimberley Armour, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Neurological Surgery team at Springfield Clinic 1st - 800 Building. She collaborates with Dr. Bradley Stephens.

Kimberley earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. She also has a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield. She has more than 35 years of experience in health care including serving as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy.

Kimee found the neurological surgery specialty after being with a family member who underwent several brain surgeries. "I want to be a provider that listens to and hears patients' concerns. Symptoms can change for many reasons and I want to help put the pieces together." She is joining us at the 800 Building because she is familiar with the team there, having been there as a patient for athletic injuries many times.

Kimee is a USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador and has raised more than $20,000 for the organization personally. Some of these funds go to support Team USA’s Paralympian athletes and future Olympic hopefuls with additional needs. As an ambassador, Kimee helps to inspire children to swim, bike and run, and hopes to one day start a program in a central Illinois community that doesn't already have one.

When she's not working, Kimee can be found running, cycling and swimming or spending time with family. Since 2009, she has completed multiple Ironman triathlons (70.3 & 140.6 miles), shorter distance Multisport events, marathons and one ultramarathon.
