Jennifer Deeb, APRN, CNP, provides care with Springfield Clinic's Internal Medicine team and collaborates with Janelle Smith, DO, at Springfield Clinic Morton Primary Care.

"I have wanted to work as a nurse for as long as I can remember. I actually asked for a stethoscope for Christmas when I was five or six," says Jennifer.

Jennifer chose Springfield Clinic because of her ties to central Illinois and due to the Clinic's significant provider network that already exists.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. She has more than 30 years of experience in nursing. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she worked as an advanced practice provider at Illinois Cancer Care, P.C., in Peoria and at area emergency rooms through Emergency Physician Staffing Solutions.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys volunteering for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She has been a part of the Washington to Peoria St. Jude run for 15 years.
