Dagny Michel, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Hospital Medicine and Gastroenterology team.

"I am most passionate about helping my patients heal whether that be spiritually, mentally, or physically," says Dagny. "I love when I can just sit down and talk with my patients about what is going on in their lives and how their health has influenced their lives."

She completed her Master of Science in nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Ill., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Methodist College in Peoria, Ill. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she served as a nurse practitioner at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

In her free time, Dagny likes to read, bike, kayak and spend as much time as possible with her husband and children.
