Vihang Soni, MD, provides care with our Hospital Medicine Department. He sees patients at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Springfield Memorial Hospital, HSHS St. John's Hospital and Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Soni earned his medical degree from the Medical College Baroda in Vadodara, India, and completed his family medicine residency at UAB Selma Family Medicine in Selma, Ala.

"As a teen, I was  drawn to the sciences and enjoyed reading books about the human anatomy in my free time," says Dr. Soni. "Being a doctor provides me the incredible opportunity to help restore people's lives to normalcy when they are sick or injured."

Dr. Soni enjoys caring for people of all ages in all stages of life. "As a hospitalist, I hope to empower patients to take control of their health," he says.

In his free time, Dr. Soni enjoys traveling, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
