Stephanie Kulavic, PA-C, provides care with our Springfield Clinic Orthopedics team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic 1st - 800 Building. She collaborates with Dr. Piero Capecci.

Stephanie earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Stephanie spent more than ten years serving as a certified athletic trainer. She is also a member of the Missouri National Guard.

"I loved anatomy and physiology ever since I was a freshman in high school," says Stephanie. "That and my background in sports led me to a career in sports medicine and orthopedics."

Stephanie is excited to return home and join Springfield Clinic. "Initially, I did not think I would return home, but I absolutely loved the environment associated with Springfield Clinic. I love the patients, staff and providers. Everyone works hard and is super friendly."

When she's not working, Stephanie loves spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, friends and family. She enjoys being outside, trail walking, playing sports, reading and working out.
