Molly Lundy, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic’s Pediatrics Department. Previously practicing in Morton, Dr. Lundy is a board-certified pediatrician who sees patients at Springfield Clinic Bloomington-Normal (2005 Jacobssen Dr.)

“Besides being a mother, the only other thing I ever wanted to be was a pediatrician,” she says. “I was always drawn to pediatrics because children are always changing, and each family is unique. But they all share the same goal when it came to their child’s well-being, and I wanted to be a part of that.”

Born and raised in Peoria, Dr. Lundy earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

“I enjoy having fun and making kids laugh while teaching them about their body and health,” Lundy says. “I also enjoy working with our team. They are so much fun, but we all share the same goal of working to ensure children are the healthiest they can be.”

In her practice, Dr. Lundy sees patients ranging from new expectant mothers through college and young adulthood.

In her free time, Dr. Lundy enjoys spending time with her husband and four children attending youth games, sporting events and spending time in the community.
