About This Provider

Kaitlin Brown provides care with the Springfield Clinic Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team.

She earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., and her Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear medicine from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

"I got into health care because of my desire to learn new things and help others," says Kaitlin. "Becoming a physician assistant allowed me to be more intricately involved in a patient's health care experience."

Prior to joining Springfield Clinic as a physician assistant, Kaitlin spent nearly four years in nuclear medicine.

"I am looking forward to being able to give patients a calming, positive experience during a hectic time in their lives," says Kaitlin.

In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys hiking, walking her dog, reading, cooking and baking. She also looks forward to volunteering at local food pantries and with Helping Hands of Springfield.
