Joshua Campbell, APRN, CNP, provides care with our Trauma Surgery department and collaborates with Jared Bernard, MD, FACS.

"My mom was a nurse when I was a child, and I thought it was so cool that she was able to go and help people," says Josh. "As a result, I always had an interest in the medical field. Being a nurse practitioner allows me to build relationships with patients in order to help take the best care of them possible."

Josh was born and raised in central Illinois. He chose Springfield Clinic because of our reputation to provide high-quality health care to the people of the region.

He completed his Master of Science in Nursing degree at Maryville University in St. Louis and his undergraduate degree at St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield. He has also completed a post-master's certificate in adult geriatric acute care through Purdue University Global. He has more than nine years of experience in nursing. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, Josh served as a nurse practitioner at HSHS Medical Group.

In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, traveling, playing a round of golf and completing household projects.
