Emily Waggener, APRN, DNP, CRNA, provides care with the Anesthesiology team. She is located at our Ambulatory Surgery & Endoscopy Center and Pain Clinic in Springfield Clinic Main Campus East.

"My mom inspired me to choose a career in health care," says Emily. "Seeing her passion as a labor and delivery nurse really set a positive example for me of what caring for others looked like." 

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Ill. and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she served as a nurse anesthetist for Ballas Anesthesia in St. Louis, Mo. 

In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time running and other outdoor activities.
