Clint Sestak, DPT, provides rehabilitation and physical therapy care at Springfield Clinic Rehabilitation Services - Monroe.
“I had my first clinical rotation at Springfield Clinic, and it was a great experience,” says Clint. “After that clinical rotation, I had my mind set on working for Springfield Clinic when I finished school.”
Clint grew up in the Springfield area, attending school at Lincoln Land Community College where he majored in physical therapy and first discovered his love for exercise, helping athletes recover from sports injuries and other influences that helped him realize rehabilitation was a great career choice for him.
Clint completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., and his undergrad degree at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. Shortly after his graduation, Clint joined Springfield Clinic’s Rehabilitation Services team. In 2021, Clint received certification to provide ASTYM care to help patients with pain, sprains and strains, tendonitis, major trauma to soft tissues, heel pain, joint stiffness, lack of mobility, surgical scarring/restricted motion and tennis elbow.
In his free time, Clint enjoys upland hunting and training his pointer, playing basketball, running, snowboarding, land maintenance and physics. Clint hopes to start raising/training therapy or skilled service dogs to help patients with their rehab or to provide mobility assistance to patients.
