Springfield Clinic has opened the doors to our new ambulatory surgery center in Peoria, Illinois. This state-of-the-art facility includes a recovery center with six licensed beds to accommodate extended-stay patient care needs. Higher acuity patients can receive services in the surgery center and then be admitted to the recovery center for up to 48 hours after their procedure. 

Our surgery center provides a safe and cost-effective alternative to hospital-based procedures. Patients experience shorter wait times, lower costs, reduced risk of infection, quicker recovery and personalized care in a comfortable patient-focused environment.

Our Peoria Surgery Center is proud to offer advanced robotic surgery, a unique feature for an outpatient surgery center. Robotic-assisted procedures allow our surgeons to perform complex surgeries with greater precision, flexibility and control than traditional techniques. 

During robotic surgery, your surgeon uses a specialized system with small instruments and a high-definition camera to operate through tiny incisions. The system mimics the surgeon’s hand movements and provides a clear view of the surgical area.

Patients arriving for a procedure at Springfield Clinic Peoria Surgery Center will find convenient parking available in our private lot located directly in front of the building. The entrance is at ground level for easy access, and a designated area is available for patient drop-off and pickup at the main entrance. 

Ample and comfortable seating is available for patients and their guests. If under the age of 18, a responsible party is required to remain on the property during the surgery or procedure. Following the procedure, family members or guests will be allowed to visit the patient and gather personal effects while the patient recovers. A member of the Peoria Surgery Center staff will escort the patient, via wheelchair, to the main lobby for discharge.
