Kayla Rose, PT, DPT, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Rehabilitation Services team.
Kayla has always been passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She was drawn to the profession because it combines helping patients navigate their recovery journeys while empowering them to achieve healthier, more active lives. Kayla earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University School of Medicine and a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS). She has a particular interest in orthopedic conditions, emphasizing patient education, improved function and independence, movement retraining and injury prevention.
What Kayla values most about physical therapy is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients. Through ongoing care, she enjoys learning their stories and tailoring treatment plans to support each individual's goals and needs. She chose Springfield Clinic because of its commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and strong provider collaboration.
A former soccer player, Kayla remains actively involved in the local soccer community alongside her husband. She has a special interest in working with young athletes recovering from soccer-related injuries and helping them safely return to the field. When she's not at work, Kayla enjoys trying new restaurants, staying active and spending time with her husband and daughter.
