Kayla Anderson, APRN, CNP, is with the Springfield Clinic Family Medicine team and collaborates with Christopher Stortzum, MD.
Kayla earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Ill. She has nearly 20 years of experience providing care throughout central Illinois, including 10 years as a home health nurse in Macomb.
Kayla’s passion for helping others is what drove her to a career in health care. “I love to help people feel their best no matter what age they may be,” she says.
Kayla will be seeing patients of all ages at Springfield Clinic Macomb. In addition to general practice, she enjoys helping patients deal with and treat sometimes chronic and complicated wounds. “There is no better feeling of accomplishment for me as a care provider than finally getting a patient’s wound to heal,” she says.
She chose Springfield Clinic because she felt like she was where she was supposed to be and is excited to continue providing care in a community she loves.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, camping and generally being outdoors.
