Jessica Mitchell, PA-C, is with the Springfield Clinic Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine team and collaborates with Steven O’Marro, MD.

Jessica earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University College of Health Sciences and her bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University. She has served as a physician assistant for nearly seven years.

Her passion for health care began at an early age with a love for science and a desire to help people in her community. “It felt like the perfect fit,” Jessica says.

Jessica is dedicated to patient education and communication. “I want to make sure my patients understand their diagnosis and feel reassured by a treatment plan. I believe communication is key.”

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys camping, travelling with family and staying active. She was a collegiate runner and continues to run and race.
