About This Provider

Jerry Priddy, PA-C, is with Springfield Clinic’s Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team, seeing patients at HSHS St. John’s Hospital and HSHS St. John’s Pavilion. Jerry joined Springfield Clinic in 2021.

Jerry earned his Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies from Saint Louis University in Missouri and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, Jerry served in Springfield, Ill., for four years where he specialized in complex-spine pathology.

Jerry enjoys the fast-paced environment trauma and critical care presents. “It involves the ability to rapidly adapt and think, often in a moment’s notice,” Jerry says. “In hospital-based medicine, every single day presents new challenges and learning opportunities, which I greatly appreciate as I advance my career and work to become the best provider I can be.”

Born and raised in Springfield, Jerry is glad to provide necessary care to his community.

“I truly appreciate being on the first line when evaluating a patient involved in a traumatic injury,” Jerry says. “Being able to assist with coordinating care, empathizing with the emotional and physical stress of injuries and observing first-hand the impact we make in patient’s lives has been very rewarding for me.”

In his free time, Jerry enjoys being outdoors and activities like hiking, camping, fishing and cooking, as well as spending time with his dog.
