Cary Squires, MD, provides care with the Springfield Clinic's Radiology Department .

Dr. Squires earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He also completed his diagnostic radiology residency and cardiothoracic radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, he worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an associate professor and radiologist specializing in cardiothoracic and emergency radiology.

Initially going to college for exercise science, Dr. Squires' interest in medicine was sparked by his anatomy and physiology class in college. "I set my sights on medical school with the knowledge that it was an area of study I felt passionate about because I could help others with their health and well-being," he says.

In his role as a radiologist, Dr. Squires enjoys helping patients from all specialties. "Radiology piqued my interest because it supports all the other specialties," he says. "I still get to be involved in the care of all types of patients across the spectrum of medicine."

In his free time, Dr. Squires enjoys reading fiction, rock climbing and weightlifting to stay healthy and baking.
