Britney Hoerbert, APRN, DNP, CNP, provides care with the Infectious Disease & Travel Medicine team. She is based at Springfield Clinic 1st-900 Building.

"I have always wanted to help people and make a positive difference in their lives," says Britney. "Infectious disease sparks my interest due to the increase in number of infections as well as it being an ever-changing environment, which creates new challenges and problems to solve."

Britney was raised on a farm in central Illinois and felt that working at Springfield Clinic provided her a great opportunity to serve her community.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Bradley University in Peoria. She has more than seven years of nursing experience. Britney most recently served as a registered nurse at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.

In her free time, Britney enjoys spending time outside, working out and being with her family. She is also actively involved in her local church and events in her community
