Laboratory Springfield Clinic's expansive laboratory network includes 14 locations throughout central Illinois for the convenience of patients and providers. All sites are linked by two courier networks and are connected through Springfield Clinic's robust and comprehensive Electronic Health Record System (EHR). 

The Commission of Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA), the country's premier clinical laboratory accreditation organization, has granted full accreditation to several of Springfield Clinic's satellite locations. COLA's endorsement signals Springfield Clinic has met stringent regulatory and quality standards, providing patients with the peace of mind they are receiving the best care possible. 

Springfield Clinic's Main Campus is accredited by CAP (College of American Pathologists) Accreditation, an internationally recognized program that utilizes teams of practicing laboratory professionals as inspectors. CAP Accreditation helps laboratories achieve the highest standards of excellence and patient care by enforcing standards for the management and operation of the facility that go well beyond regulatory requirements.

Springfield Clinic's Laboratory is recognized as an independent provider by Medicare and can accept orders from all Clinic physicians and locations, as well as any other physician, chiropractor, podiatrist, and dentist not affiliated with Springfield Clinic.

While each Laboratory facility has slightly different service hours, typical hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
