About Us

Our mission is to build healthy relationships with our patients so we can work toward the best health outcomes possible.

Springfield Clinic's Cardiology team works to assist those affected by cardiac conditions in preventing heart disease through testing, education and lifestyle changes. Through such changes, you can not only reduce your risk for heart attack and cardiovascular disease, but experience fewer associated risks of stroke, diabetes and some cancers. We also offer resources that can help you live a healthier lifestyle.

We offer a wide variety of tests and procedures that help diagnose and treat heart disease. How many and which tests is dependent on several things, including:

  • Your risk factors

  • History of heart problems

  • Current symptoms

  • The doctor's interpretation of these criteria.

Springfield Clinic Cardiology offers emergent treatment to those with symptoms of a heart attack (acute myocardial infarction) that have an abnormal EKG. By using rapid response protocols in local emergency rooms, patients can be stabilized, transported to Springfield hospitals and treated by a Springfield Clinic cardiologist in less than 90 minutes.
