Community Benefits
Springfield Clinic has served the health care needs of its patients for more than 75 years. Over the decades, our practice has consistently delivered quality care using cutting edge therapies and the latest in medical technology. That’s just part of the reason we are consistently voted Springfield’s Best Doctors Office (State Journal-Register annual reader poll).
Award-winning quality, technology, and innovation.
Springfield Clinic care extends beyond our exam room walls with community education, free health screenings and wellness events, sponsorship of local health related activities and support for area arts programs.
As a growing, successful practice, our organization contributes significantly to the health of Central Illinois’ economy. Springfield Clinic is the area’s largest private employer and has gained a reputation as a premier career destination.
Partnership Benefits
Our success as an organization is inextricably tied to the vision, passion and dedication of our physicians and staff. That’s why we are committed to hiring talent, cultivating leadership and rewarding performance. Springfield Clinic’s path to excellence has become one of the most successful practice models in the country.
We provide a highly efficient infrastructure to support a new associate’s start-up and offer many opportunities to build a successful practice. New physicians can cultivate internal referrals from among the more than 300 partners, associates and mid-level providers within the Springfield Clinic network, build relationships with other local practices and extend their services into our outreach communities—guiding you on your path to partnership and success.
New associates become eligible for partnership after only two years and if voted in, have immediate and equal voting rights. There are numerous opportunities for continued medical education, leadership development and compensation growth.
Our physician partners always have been and will continue to be the heart of Springfield Clinic. We are looking for the next generation of physicians who can continue our tradition of quality and excellence.

Springfield is best known for its most famous resident, Abraham Lincoln. The city has much to offer in addition to Abe. The stunning Dana-Thomas house, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is home to a number of events celebrating the arts each year. The home of “Prairie Troubadour” Vachel Lindsay sits just south of downtown, as does the Elijah Iles House, the oldest residence in Springfield.
For some famous Route 66 fun, there’s Shea’s Gas Station Museum, and Cozy Dog Drive In, the home of the original “hot dog on a stick.” Speaking of great food, Springfield is home to the Illinois State Fair, the 13th largest fair in the nation featuring top entertainment acts, elite harness racing, and, of course, the carnival.
