Lanny S. Odin, M.D. is a native of Buffalo, N.Y. He graduated from medical school at St. Louis University in 1982. Following an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Odin completed a residency in ophthalmology at St. Louis University where he also served as Chief Resident. He then went on to a Retinal Fellowship at Texas Tech University where he also was an instructor. Dr. Odin has authored multiple scientific publications and was in practice for 9 years in St. Louis before relocating to Central Illinois. He practiced for 17 years in Central Illinois before opening the Central Illinois Retina Institute in Taylorville in 2015. Dr. Odin specializes in diseases of the retina.
