Rehabilitation Services

Physical therapy helps identify and maximize your qualify of life and movement potential by taking care of your physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being. In addition to traditional physical therapy services, our Rehabilitation Services Department’s expanded services also include specialists in occupational, hand and speech therapy.

Physical therapy is performed by either a licensed physical therapist (PT) or an assistant (PTA) acting under the direction of the PT. Physical therapists see patients in consultation with and upon referral by the physicians with Springfield Clinic Orthopedics. Our Rehabilitation Services team also includes occupational and speech-language therapists and is widely versed in the treatment of many common physical therapy disorders as well as many specialized areas not seen in most clinics. Springfield Clinic’s team of experienced and versatile therapists will work with you toward the goal of a healthy and successful outcome.

As part of Springfield Clinic’s team, our rehabilitation specialists collaborate closely with our orthopedic physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to supplement the medical treatment they deliver.
