Dr. DeJong is a non-surgical orthopedic specialist who sees patients of all ages in the evaluation of any orthopedic injury or issue. He treats non-surgical conditions ranging from concussions to toe fractures and most everything in between. He is one of three physicians at the orthopedic walk-in clinic, although scheduled appointments are also available. Dr. DeJong’s training includes use of ultrasound for guided injections when medically necessary, although he does not perform injections of the spine or sacroiliac joint. With on-site casting, bracing and splinting, convenient specialist orthopedic care is more accessible than ever.

Following his medical training at Vanderbilt and Duke, Dr. DeJong practiced in Belleville, Ill. for nine years before moving to Springfield and joining Springfield Clinic's Orthopedic Group in 2014.
