Learning objectives:

At the completion of this lecture, participants will be able to:

  • Identify signs, symptoms, special testing and surgical techniques for glenoid labral pahtology. 
  • Describe the physiology in the different stages of healing for a glenoid labrum repair and prescribe therapeutic exercise that are appropriate and complementary to a specific phase of rehabilitation.
  • Identify signs, symptoms, special testing and surgical techniques for the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) pathology.
  • Describe the physiology in the different stages of healing for a TFCC repair/debridement and prescribe therapeutic exercises that are appropriate and complementary to each specific phase of rehabilitation after TFCC surgery.
  • Identify signs, symptoms, special testing and surgical techniques for anterior cruciate ligament pathology.
  • Describe the physiology in the different stages of healing for an ACL reconstruction and prescribe therapeutic exercises that are appropriate and complementary to each specific phase of rehabilitation.
