Does Springfield Clinic provide opportunities for
advancement?
Absolutely. We believe that all employees should have the opportunity to advance their career and professional development. As a result, we normally post all job vacancies internally for a minimum of 3 - 4 days before allowing the public to apply. Internal applicants who meet the qualifications for the position and who apply within four days of the position are ensured an interview.
How do I apply for a position with Springfield Clinic?
To be considered for a position, external applicants must complete a job application and internal applicants must complete an "internal application". Both applications are available through our "careers page" via the website. The HR office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, except holidays. Generally, applicants must submit an application/resume, including education, references, previous job history and other relevant information with their application. In most cases, applications will only be accepted for open posted positions. Open position descriptions and required qualifications are available on our website.
What happens to my application when it is submitted to Human
Resources?
Upon receipt, your application is reviewed for completeness. After review, your application will be forwarded to the manager or director responsible for filling the vacant position. He or she will notify you directly if they are interested in interviewing you for the position. Applications will be kept on file for a period of one year.
