MEET OUR RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONERS

Respiratory Care Practitioners operate a variety of electromechanical respiration equipment to obtain data relative to functioning of patient's respiratory processes for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating pulmonary disorders. We perform numerous services in pulmonary instruction and therapy to patients as well as general medical office assistance:

  1. Instruction and basic explanation of your pulmonary diagnosis i.e., Asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Emphysema, Fibrosis, etc.

  2. Instruction with medication, handheld inhalers, nebulizers, breathing techniques, etc.

  3. Oxygen therapy instruction.

  4. Perform SPP (Simple Spirometry) and PFT (Complete Pulmonary Function Testing) with and without bronchodilator, peak flow meter, methacholine challenge.
