Drug and Alcohol Testing

MOHA provides urine drug testing and breath-alcohol testing to assist in ensuring that your employees are not impaired or under the influence of illegal drugs. Drug testing is essential in today’s workforce, especially for persons in sensitive positions of trust, those working with children, transportation employees and others who could expose your organization to liability in the event of an impaired accident or injury.

Drug testing services are provided in the following areas:

  • DOT and Non-DOT

    • MOHA can help meet the stringent requirements under the US DOT, as well as employees not covered under DOT to meet your company's drug testing policies.

  • Pre-Employment

    • Drug testing of potential new hires is especially important to screen out potential employees who test positive for drug use.  This is a vital protection for your company or organization in helping prevent bad or risky hires.

  • Random

    • Many companies and organizations require random drug tests.  Such rules may apply to both union and non-union positions.  Random tests are computer generated for fairness and helps ensure that your workforce is aware of the consequences of a positive drug test.

  • Post-Accident

    • If your employee is involved in an accident, a drug or breath alcohol test can be performed by MOHA, even after hours.  For details and rate for night and weekend testing services, please contact MOHA.

  • Reasonable Suspicion

    • Employees may also be tested when an employer has reasonable suspicion that an employee is using drugs or alcohol or may be impaired while on company time or on company property.

  • Follow-up/Mandated

    • Follow-up drug testings is also offered.  Such testing may also be mandated by the employer, US, DOT or other agencies.
