Please plan on the following before undergoing CK:
- Do not wear soft contact lenses for at least 1 week before the procedure.
- Do not wear ANY eye makeup for 3 days prior to the procedure.
- Arrange for transportation from our office on procedure day.
- Pick up your medications from your pharmacy. Do not use these prior to surgery, just bring them the day of your procedure.
Because Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) is fast and simple, procedure day is easy! You should expect:
- Patient check-in
- To have already signed your Informed Consent Form and returned to Dr. Lohse's office.
- To have all your questions answered to your satisfaction.
- Make final payment, if not already done.
- Scheduling of a 1 week post-op appointment.
- 3 - 5 minute procedure.
- Post-op discussion and care instructions.
