Studies

Clinical trials are always underway at Springfield Clinic, in a number of medical specialties. Not all new medicines work, and there is no way to know their effectiveness in treating or curing disease unless clinical trials are performed. To that end, the Clinical Research Department works closely with the pharmaceutical companies, who are pioneering the new treatments, to get involved with the most innovative and promising therapies that have the potential to benefit our patients.

If you are considering participating in a clinical trial, it may be because you are affected by a specific health condition or because a loved one is affected. To find out what opportunities might be available to your or your family members, please find our list of Currently Enrolling Studies trials and the medical condition, or “indication,” being studied. We invite you to check back frequently as we have many upcoming studies as well. You may also be interested in those studies that are now closed to enrollment, which can be found under studies in follow-up and completed studies.
