The staff members of Springfield Clinic's Department of Research are dedicated researchers with extensive credentials and a passion for the work they perform. In addition to our clinical backgrounds, we have specialized training in clinical research and are dedicated to providing our patients with “Cutting Edge Research for Tomorrow’s Medicine”.
It is highly rewarding for our staff to be involved in these studies, which are leading the way in the discovery and development of technology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. With the knowledge gained from clinical trials, we support the medical care and treatments that improve quality of life and increase life expectancy. We are part of an effort that leads to the development of new drugs and therapies for some of life's most challenging diseases. And, for those directly affected by life-threatening diseases and conditions, our studies provide the hope of a cure.
Our team of professionals in the Department of Research works closely with the physicians of Springfield Clinic to provide compassion and care to the patient during the medical encounter. Additionally, we work behind the scenes to meet the many regulatory demands of each study.
