Our goal is to make your experience EXCELLENT. The Ambulatory Surgery Center offers a pre-operative tour for children and their parents (limit 2 adults please). Tour is limited to the child having surgery, no siblings please. The goal of this program is to help prepare you and your child for surgery and to help ease anxiety about the procedure. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with the environment, ask questions, meet a friendly staff member and to make the experience more predictable.
Tours for Tots is held on scheduled Saturdays each month at 10:00 am. To register for this program, please call (217) 528-7541 x KIDS (5437) or toll free at 800-444-7541. Please schedule by noon the day prior to the tour. Individual tours for certain situations may be offered based on nurse availability.
