Time Off

 

Vacation
  • Springfield Clinic vacation time accrues based on hours worked
    • 1-6 years = 10 days
    • 7-14 years = 15 days
    • 15+ years = 20 days
Sick Leave
  • Begin to accrue with the second 6 months of employment at the rate of one day per month. Following the first anniversary of employment, begins accruing at rate of 80 hours per year.
  • Maximum accrual for full time employees is 480 hours.
  • Pro-rated hours for part time employees
  • Buy back days in excess of 480 at 1/2 rate at end of each year.
Personal Days
  • Springfield Clinic personal time accrues based on hours worked.
  • Employees are eligible to accrue 16 hours per year, up to a maximum of 24 hours.
Bereavement
  • Immediate family - 24 hours
  • Other specified family members - 8 hours
  • May take additional time if needed
Holidays
  • Must work minimum 24 hours per week
  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve - 1/2 day
  • Christmas Day
  • Full time employees are paid 8 hours
  • Part time employees are paid on a pro-rated basis
