Springfield Clinic Announces New Prompt Care Sherman Location

Springfield Clinic Prompt Care, a no-appointment, walk-in medical clinic, will open its new location at Springfield Clinic Sherman, located at 400 St. John’s Drive, on February 4.

Doctors and staff at the new facility will host a free Open House event on Saturday, February 2, from 10am to noon. The public is invited to tour the medical office, which includes a spacious and comfortable patient waiting area, exam rooms, on-site lab and digital x-ray, as well as physician and business offices.

In addition to the new Prompt Care services, Springfield Clinic Sherman will continue to provide the same high quality primary care it has provided since opening in 1996. Primary care at Springfield Clinic Sherman is overseen by Leticia Drapiza, MD. Dr. Drapiza specializes in Family Medicine, and offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for the entire family, with a focus in women's health and geriatrics.

Prompt Care first opened its doors at Springfield Clinic’s Main Campus in 1992. The Sherman location represents its fourth facility. The hours of operation for the walk-in clinic will be 10am to 7pm Monday through Friday, and 9am to 6pm on weekends.

All Prompt Care services are connected through Springfield Clinic's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system; therefore, all lab work, X-rays, physician notes, etc., can be accessed by any of the patient's Springfield Clinic physicians. Prompt Care records can also be sent electronically to local emergency rooms.
